About Us

After working for a number of local auto dealers, Stan Graybill decided to open his own shop, Graybills Auto Service Inc, in 1975. The shop was located at an iconic three-bay garage at 253 E. Main Street in New Holland (built in 1930) that originally served as a full-service Gulf Station. Realizing that he had to focus more on auto repair than fuel sales, Stan chose to discontinue the three original gasoline pumps located in the front of the shop.

Because of his experience as a skilled technician, he became a sought-after mechanic for classic car enthusiasts and street rod owners (Stan preferred his own 1969 Corvette). Stan Graybill II, Stan’s son, quickly developed a passion for muscle cars, bought his own Glacier Blue 1969 Camaro, and began working at the shop when he was 15 years old. Stan II went through extensive GM factory training and gained a lot of experience working on exotic cars. He’s an ASE certified master technician and maintains his knowledge and education by constantly attending state-of-the-art classes on new automotive technology.

The Graybills worked side by side for 11 years until Stan decided to retire in 2013. Stan II is dedicated to maintaining the dependability, quality, and services that his father established all the way back in 1975. As a partner with his lifelong community, Stan II aims to deliver great auto service at a fair price while not only repairing your vehicle but also educating you on all of the work provided and its necessity.
